Review

Australian coffee snobbery seems to be taking over the world - well Siem Reap at least. And The Hive is one of three successful little places serving serious locally roasted coffee, as well as juices, breakfast, lunch and Friday night cocktails.

Co-owned by young Aussie expat Clayton, The Hive established its popularity in the Siem Reap NGO and hospitality community from which he hails. Since then, in-the-know travellers have been seeking it out too.

You’ll be forgiven for forgetting you’re in Siem Reap - except for the friendly local staff. Hive is a little urban cafe that has somehow found a happy home in the Angkor temple town.
