The resort ruin on Dai Lanh Beach

This abandoned resort has been decaying for a few decades on Vietnam's picturesque Dai Lanh beach. When I first passed by here in the early 90s, tour guides and drivers told me it was started by Soviet bloc investors in the late 80s when Soviet bloc tourists were the only visitors to this part of the world. The whole project collapsed when the Soviet Union crumbled. It's in an awesome location for a resort, but for some reason, nobody's bothered to demolish it, or resume development. It's a Cold War relic on a Vietnam beach. Check it out.
