Luna d’Autunno has been serving Italian cuisine in downtown Hanoi since the 1990s, across various locations. The interior won’t win any design awards, but it’s a dependable stop for pizza, pasta and other Italian standards. Italian native Gino works his magic in the kitchen, while his partner, Hang from Hanoi, creates a welcoming atmosphere on the floor. The wine selection - we drank by the glass - is good. The location of the smokers on the ground floor is unfortunate as a welcome, but we enjoyed our most recent meal. Non-smokers head upstairs.

Rusty Compass listings are always independent. We list the places we think are worth knowing about. Our Featured Listings allow a small selection of businesses already recommended by us, to pay a fee for a place at the top of our list. That’s it. Featured Listings have no impact on reviews, or on the curation and independence of our lists.
