Two young Brits, Gavin and Steve opened Life’s a Beach on Quy Nhon’s Bai Xep in 2014. It’s a small collection of simple huts right on the beach and it’s attracting a mainly young backpacker crowd.

You can go to the top end and take a bamboo bungalow or you can budget and sleep on a hammock. In between there are also a handful of dorm beds.

Life’s a Beach is located next to Haven and not far from the Avani Quy Nhon. There’s one large bungalow over two levels as well as a shared dorm style bungalow. Like Haven next door, Life’s a Beach is in a small fishing community so there isn’t a whole lot around except beach and local life. Perfect if that’s what you’re looking for.

The guys from Haven have opened another place a little further south of Bai Xep. We haven't visited yet.

Rusty Compass recommendations are always independent. We list the places we think you should know about. That's it. We've visited Life's a Beach a few times but have never stayed there. No money changed hands for this listing.
