Fresh seafood is a big part of the Phu Quoc Island travel experience. It's best enjoyed at the night market at the northern end of Long Beach where Duong Dong town begins. Each night it's packed with locals and travellers seated on plastic stools and digging into fresh seafood cooked right there by the stallholders. It's a relaxed an inexpensive night out.

There are quite a few restaurants of varying quality along the Long Beach road. There are also some simple seafood shacks at the La Verandah end of Long Beach.

The restaurant at Mai House Resort has always been a favourite.

If you're staying in the Ong Lang Beach area, you're more likely to spend most of your time eating in resort. Chen Spa Resort and Mango Bay Resort are in reasonable proximity so guests at either can break out of their resorts and visit the other for a meal.

For an upscale meal, try Chen Spa Resort in the Ong Lang area or La Veranda in the Long Beach area.
