Dien Bien Phu to Luang Prabang along the Nam Ou River - Part 1

We leave the historic mountain town of Dien Bien Phu in Vietnam's remote northwest and head towards the sleepy Lao border town of Muang Khua - including the remote Tay Trang border crossing. Our driver, whose name is Mr National Defence, is more focused on his suspect deliveries than on getting us to our destination. But that ends up being all part of the fun. This is the first video of 2 travelling between Dien Bien Phu and the ancient Lao capital of Luang Prabang.
