The Franco-Spanish Cemetery outside Danang, VIetnam

The French began their colonial conquest of Indochina with a failed attack on the Vietnamese port city of Danang in 1858. Just north of Danang on the Son Tra Peninsula is a cemetery that holds the graves of French and Spanish soldiers who fought in that campaign. It's the only cemetery we know of in Vietnam that holds the graves of foreign troops. It sees few tourists but it's a must-see for history buffs.
