The old Russian hydrofoils along the Saigon River to Vung Tau

If you want to do something a little different while in Saigon, head down to the coastal town of Vung Tau aboard an old Russian hydrofoil. There's little to indicate these craft would win many points for seaworthiness -  but they're a very interesting way to experience the Saigon River. Vung Tau's best days may be in the past too - but it's an pleasant and relatively quiet spot.
