Following on from the success of Maison Marou in Saigon, the people from Vietnam’s best loved local chocolate brand have opened up in Hanoi. The concept’s the same - quality chocolate store and cafe, with a small production facility on site. If you love your chocolate, you’ll love this place. Marou Chocolate was created by Frenchmen Vincent Mourou, formerly an advertising executive, and Sam Maruta, formerly an investment banker. They’ve combined their commercial talents with their passion for chocolate to create a Vietnamese product that’s receiving international accolades. The cafe space is cool, a perfect place to indulge your chocolate habit. The coffee’s good too.
