The Conifer is located on a picturesque, quiet side street very close by the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi’s French Quarter. It enjoys good access to city sights and restaurants. Hanoi Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter are a short walk away.

The Conifer is a cosy, nicely decorated boutique hotel and a good choice for those baulking at the rates of 5 star hotels. It feels more corporate than traveller and it’s worth the extra spend for a deluxe room. Rooms are bright with cool modern decor. Many have balconies and views.

Rusty Compass reviews and listings are always independent. We research hotels, photograph them, stay in some of them -  and list the ones we think are worth knowing about. That’s it. No inducement was received, financial or otherwise, for this listing.
