Rooms feel and everything else
“Boutique” is one of the most abused adjectives in Vietnam’s hotel scene. River Cottages is the real thing. It’s a serene space. The perfect antidote to chaotic Saigon if you don’t mind being 20 minutes away from the action.
Rooms are comfortable and spacious, in rustic style, with some tasteful bursts of colour. Ground floor rooms have private gardens. Upstairs rooms have views and balconies.

There’s a deck looking across the Saigon River - a spot where you’ll likely spend some time with a glass of something if you’re staying here.
This is one of the nicest places to stay in Saigon - if you like to keep things simple and tasteful. The absence of a pool may be a deal-breaker for some.
Staff were friendly and helpful - but this is more of place to take care of your own time. If you like to have staff fussing over you, this won't be a good choice.
