Price guide: $$$
Great coffee, handsome garden space and Phin Espresso and Drip is also plastic free. Love the classic Vietnamese house too. They keep the complimentary water flowing generously - no plastic water bottles. That's worth supporting. Not a lot happening in the food department yet - though coming soon I believe. Thinh the owner was a tour guide for years before he developed a coffee obsession. He now roasts on site and serves some of the best coffee in Hoi An. He also rents proper bicycles - rather than the dodgy things available at most hotels - for around 160K VND per day. Cafe Phin is located down a little alley off Le Loi St right by Secret Garden restaurant.

Rusty Compass listings are always independent. We list the places we think are worth knowing about. Our Featured Listings allow a small selection of businesses already recommended by us, to pay a fee for a place at the top of our list. That’s it. Featured Listings have no impact on reviews, or on the curation and independence of our lists.
