The Ha Tien waterfront has some nice old Chinese shophouses and plenty of local activity as fishing and supply boats come and go. The Bao Tam Pagoda has been renovated to within an inch of its life but is one of the most revered in town. The vast Xa Ngoc Tien Pagoda across the river was built in the 1960s and has great views across town. It's curiously ignored by guidebooks. The old market has been demolished but there is some great local food around the old market site.
