Goc Bac first captured my attention because of the sensational modernist building that houses it. You can enjoy a tasty casual feed in a special piece of Vietnam's architectural heritage. We love these buildings. Though the locals aren’t terribly fussed so they’re disappearing.
I’m partial to Hanoi cuisine too and the name translates as "Northern Corner" - referring to the culinary style on offer. We had a simple tasty meal here - with some added hospitality from the family dog.
