Location

Battambang is a compact place so location isn't a big deal unless you want to be a short walk to town. Battambang Resort is around 4kms from the town centre and can easily be accessed by tuk-tuk organised by the resort.

Review

The most recently opened of our Battambang selection, Battambang Resort is the work of a couple, Phary and Jan, of Khmer and European origin. They've put their hearts into the project and created something comfortable, tasteful, friendly and welcoming.

It's also well priced.

The large grounds include herb, vegetable and fruit tree gardens - as well as a good sized swimming pool.

There are three room types across modern-style bungalows. All are spacious and very adequate for two travellers. The smallest rooms are 31sqm.

The mid-size rooms are known as Lake Rooms. They're 35sqm and also include a 17sqm terrace.  Don't base your decision on the lake though - which is more a pond of brownish water.

The owners are delightful and a big part of the appeal of Battambang Resort.

Facilities Brief
Nice pool, free wifi, breakfast, garden, restaurant, city bikes and more.
