The Exchange is one of Phnom Penh's newest drinking and dining venues in a grand villa renovated in upscale pub style.

Set in an impressive villa past Wat Phnom, The Exchange is a classic upscale restobar - it could be in any city. So if you're craving a escapism from Phnom Penh, this might be a good place to head. Start with a drink from the extensive bar. There's a beer garden outside too.

The menu is template resto pub stuff - broad contemporary international cuisine offerings.

The name was presumably given to mark the opening of the Cambodian stock exchange at the beginning of 2012 and this is reflected in the names of menu categories such as "preferred shares" and "soaring stocks". 2012 probably won't go down as a great year to inaugurate a stock market. Let's hope The Exchange pub restaurant does better!
