THE DOORS BAR PERMANENTLY CLOSED IN 2018. ITS OWNER HAS OPENED WHISKEY MYSTICS AND MEN IN HANOI'S WEST LAKE AREA WITH A SIMILAR VIBE. FOR MORE CHECK OUR HANOI NIGHTLIFE LIST.
A fun live music space a block or so away from the party along Ta Hien St (aka. Beer St) in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The Doors have a live band performing most nights. The resident band is made up of a group of Hanoi music veterans partial to 60s and 70s rock classics - hence the name. On our most recent visit, it was Beatles theme night. The place was packed with locals and tourists - a great scene. We haven’t seen a whole lot of coffee being consumed at The Doors Cafe. Perhaps that happens by day.

Rusty Compass listings are always independent. We list the places we think are worth knowing about. Our Featured Listings allow a small selection of businesses already recommended by us, to pay a fee for a place at the top of our list. That’s it. Featured Listings have no impact on reviews, or on the curation and independence of our lists.
