There is an easy full day of things to keep you amused in and around Chau Doc. It's one of the most interesting Mekong Delta towns.

If you're feeling like spending a second day, you'll be able to move at a very chilled pace and take in some further exploration of the local countryside.

There isn't a whole lot to see in Chau Doc itself but the surrounding river life, Chau Giang Cham and Khmer communities, Cham Mountain and Tra Su Sanctuary are all worthwhile visits.
