Review
A recently opened home stay fronting on to a canal to the river. Basic accommodation - no air con or other hotel style luxuries but it's comfortable (in a spartan kind of way), clean and safe. Some rooms are dorm style. There isn't much privacy in any rooms.
Vietnamese food is simple, authentic, fresh, with generous serves.
Owner used to be a boatman on the river so he knows the best things to see and the homestay also offers boat trips for guests. There's nice walking and cycling from right outside the homestay as well.

6 rooms, same price, shared toilet, internet ADSL, No wifi, No AC, No mini bar, 1 TV for the whole family, No card payment, cash only. Price includes breakfast, dinner, and bicycle. You can join the cook in the kitchen and see how it's done if you wish.
