Tran Duc is one of our favourite Vietnam chefs. We’ve been big fans of his restaurants, Mango Rooms and Mango Mango, for a long time. At Mai Fish, Duc’s created a more traditional Hoi An eatery, with local favourites like Cao Lau and banh mi. Duc describes it as the food he grew up with. It’s very good, and the traditional house is nicely done too. Mai Fish is located on the western side of the Japanese Bridge. Things here are a little less intense than the eastern side.
