Dalat's cable car is a nice way to see the town and its surrounding countryside, while visiting the recently built Truc Lam Pagoda.

A short taxi ride from Dalat centre takes you to the cable car station for the ride to Truc Lam Pagoda. There are good views of the city and surrounding countryside including Tuyen Lam Lake.

Truc Lam Pagoda was built in the 1990s and lacks the old world atmosphere of older Buddhist pagodas. It’s a very popular spot with local tourists and so things can get pretty noisy and hectic. Best avoided on weekends and during local holidays.
