No natural scene is so beautiful and serene that it can’t be improved with generous lashings of concrete, colourful concrete animals, a plethora of kitsch and blasting music. Or so it seems in Dalat’s Valley of Love.

Dalat kitsch transcends new highs at the Valley of Love. If kitsch be the food of love.... Dalat is a lover's feast.

The Valley of Love is a big part of Dalat’s “city of romance” thing but you’re unlikely to be moved. The valley is pretty enough but with so much else going on, it’s hard to appreciate it.

Pack your sense of humour, appreciation of kitsch and enjoy the people watching. Young local couples flock to the valley to savour its reputed romantic ambience.
