Dalat see and do guide

Dalat's greatest attraction is probably its cool mountain air and green vistas - especially if you're heading from Saigon. It's a perfect antidote to a hot crowded city. That's why the French flocked here a century ago too. But there are some cool things to keep you busy as well.

Dalat's becoming a popular active travel destination with trekking, cycling and climbing all bringing in young adventure seekers.

We're big fans of the city's architectural heritage - though Dalat has done little to make use of one of its best assets. Information for those interested in architecture and history is almost non-existent. Still, we love exploring the incredible collection of French and Vietnamese modernist architecture here.

Coffee and the local cuisine will also be highlights of your stay.
