Tasty French owned creperie in a colonial era villa, a little away from Hanoi’s main tourist area. The area's worth exploring too.

This atmospheric little French-owned creperie provided shelter from a grim Hanoi winter’s day. The crepe was just what I needed, and the space, in an old colonial era villa, was nicely done and uniquely Hanoi.

Panam' seems to be a favoured haunt of the capital’s cliquey French community - that’s a good sign. The menu features sweet and savoury crepes, salads and paninis. Not a bad spot for a glass of wine from the mainly French wine list either.

Panam' is located away from the main tourist areas of Hanoi, in an area with some of the city’s most impressive colonial-era architecture. A good spot for exploration.
