Sente is a gorgeous little place with a menu based around the lotus. It's novel, tasty and the setting in an old colonial era courtyard space is special too. Sente is plastic free.

So we finally made it back to Sente for a proper meal. It's a special little place with food and drinks based around the lotus - flowers, stems, roots are served in soups, salads and noodle dishes. There are both meat and vegetarian options.

The setting is beautiful too - down an alley in a French colonial villa with a courtyard.

Last but not least, Sente is plastic free.

A tasty mellow break from Hanoi's busy streets.
