Che Culo is a cheekily named, Australian owned, Mediterranean themed bar and eatery in Phnom Penh’s BKK1 expat enclave.

Che Culo’s a popular, airy space for a cocktail, a glass of wine or a beer and a bite.

The theme is Mediterranean as is the concise menu of shared plates. The feel is casual and friendly.

Che Culo opens later on weekends than the bars around nearby Bassac Lane and can be a good spot to move to if you don’t want to head to a club.

Lunch is also served and this isn’t a bad spot to take a break by day if the phnom penh heat, rains or general intensity, are getting to you.

Rusty Compass recommendations are always independent. We list the places we think you should know about. That’s it. We’ve paid our way on all visits to Che Culo and no money changed hands for this recommendation.
